WELCOME

The Lulu Company was a brainchild of mine stemming from my Senior Year of college at the University of the Pacific. Here, I was blessed with a wide range of knowledgeable professors that challenged me to not only be successful professionally, but to be a conscious and contributing member of my community.

BACKGROUND

I began designing websites when I was 12 after taking a web design class at CSU Sacramento. For the next few years I designed websites for small businesses. Growing up, my parents owned their own business, and I developed a special fondness for small business owners and non-profit organizations. As I studied Marketing at UOPacific, I paid special attention to its applicability, and took an added interest in designing integrated marketing plans for local small businesses as class projects. I was also blessed with experience interning with a local marketing company that allowed me my first taste at event and concert planning as the Director of Event Planning. From there, I received an Internship working for the Associate Vice President of Pacific’s Marketing and Communications Department. On top of the excellent hands on experience in market research and PR, I was able to study and then help develop the university’s social media plan. My work at Pacific provided me the opportunity to share my social media knowledge with organizations such as Pacific’s Global Center for Social Entrepreneurship, and the Women’s Center of San Joaquin County in 2011.

FINDING MY PASSION

Through all of this work, I discovered what I want to do with the rest of my life. I love working with people, and using my knowledge and skills to improve their businesses and their lives. Equipped with education and experiential knowledge, I realized I could best do this through marketing and event planning. With the guidance of experts, and through mentors and networks, I’ve constructed a sustainable business plan that will allow me to handle this diversified content while working to give back to the community. (More of this business model to be posted soon.)

    • It’s been a long road, but I haven’t been broken yet! So it must just make me stronger. Well, I’m not “bigger and stronger” so I’ve got to be faster, smarter, and more persistent! haha. 🙂 Thanks for the support ❤ My FIRST Comment.
